What a better way to start! Yesterday I had a meeting with my cousins, we have not seen each other since last year, so we have a whatsapp group and Roberto proposed El Candelero, I have not been there, so it was a great opportunity to know a new place, and it was an excellent choice to start this blog, you will see... BTW Roberto did not come, we missed him.
El Candelero is located in one of the most important avenues in this city: Insurgentes Avenue. This place was an Ex-Hacienda built in 1795, which now is decorated baroque style, full of vintage items combined with neon lights that lead you to another age.

First of all we were received with a delicious shrimp soup, that is a house courtesy. You will be asked about what you want for drinking. What about a cold Corona?
Then you have to order this appetisers named "Platón Vértigo" a mix and match of typical mexican food, guacamole, taquitos and deli sopes, yummmy... try the fideo taco, it is superior.
If you are still hungry try the specialties of the house like Chicken Breast filled with Cuitlacoche. You just will love it.
About the prices I think that they are a little high, but it worths it...
Anyway you have the last opinion, come to Mexico and visit this place.
